Our Story

Susanne is the founder of Designorina – and a designer driven by genuine passion. In her mid-twenties, she made a conscious decision to leave behind the security of a graphic design career to follow what had always inspired her most: creating design that speaks to the senses and stirs emotion.
From an early age, she was drawn to packaging design and three-dimensional form. Specialising in bespoke giveaways was therefore a natural evolution – guided by an ambition to create far more than conventional promotional products.

In 2013, Susanne visited PSI in Düsseldorf, Europe’s leading trade fair for promotional merchandise. What she encountered was disillusioning. Not because of the products themselves, but because of the prevailing mindset: an endless array of items, all following the same formula – place a logo, produce, repeat. For Susanne, this approach fell short. From that moment, Designorina’s guiding principle was born: “Message first. Product second.” A philosophy that continues to define the brand and has become the cornerstone of its success.

Designorina soon began collaborating with renowned hotels. What matters most to Susanne are the stories shared by her clients – of guests who feel genuinely touched, surprised, and deeply appreciated. When a giveaway creates a real emotional connection, it becomes more than an object. For Susanne, this response is the highest form of recognition.

In 2022, another defining chapter began. Together with her husband, Susanne relocated from Vienna to Doha. Inspired by a spirit of adventure, cultural curiosity, and the desire to broaden their horizons, the designer and the pilot embraced life in the Middle East. Susanne established her company in the Qatar Freezone – a strategic step that opened new perspectives and opportunities. Today, Designorina is led from Qatar, shaped by close ties to Asia, a global network, and the region’s exceptional hospitality landscape. These influences continue to inform the evolution of Designorina’s services and creations.
Today, Designorina stands for uncompromising individuality, outstanding quality, and emotional depth. Each giveaway is thoughtfully crafted to become a lasting memory – one that lingers and shines long after the moment has passed.
